Apparently, being a big brother does wonders for your etiquette awareness. Until recently, when we tried to tell CMac to say "excuse me" he would smile devilishly and try with all his might to repeat whatever sound required excusing.
Yesterday, when I was burping Willa Ann she...well...burped. Right about then our dear little fella chimed in with "Ecooose me, Baby Sisair" Hahahahahaha!

Palm Sunday
We got back to church for the first time since Willa Ann was born today and she was quiet for almost the whole service. Charlie Mac was partying in the nursery. It's such pretty weather today that we walked there and back; I'm not sure if it has officially begun yet, but Spring is definitely...springing! We are doing house and yard work this afternoon to the melodies of Jimmy Buffett--it really feels like Winter is headed on it's way back to wherever cold things like to be.

Family and friends
Willa Ann was surrounded by good friends and family after she came home:
Julia drove down from Memphis
Katie came in from DC:Her great grandparents Mary and Rod:
Getting settled in with baby
Charlie Mac is just the sweetest big brother~ he loves to help hold her:
I am afraid this may be the only picture we got of her in her coming home dress and blessing bonnet. I'm hoping there is a good one in my mother's camera. If not, I'm just going to put her right back in it and take some!

Willa Ann Is here!
Elizabeth Ann Wilson Hiatt was born February 5th weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces and she was 19 inches long. We are calling her Willa Ann after my parents; Willa is for Wilson and Ann is what my mother goes by. Charlie Mac is a wonderful big brother and calls her "Baby Sisair" sounding a lot like Inspector Clouseau of Pink Panther fame.
